About Me

Hi there. I am Frank Meyer, an experienced, expert appraiser and pop culture historian with an extensive music, literary and film background. With my detailed knowledge of showbiz history and seven published books under my belt, I have become a validated appraiser who specializes in music, film, TV and pop culture. My background includes directing documentary films, extensive credits as a recording and touring musician, and a 30 year career working at everywhere from NBC/Universal, AXS-TV, Clear Channel, Fender Musical Instruments, and much more. I also an avid collector of guitars and vintage toys. Since establishing Hollywood Music and Media Appraisals in 2018, I have appraised music and film collections for University of Southern California’s Hugh Hefner Moving Image Archive, Target Video77 Media Library, Hollywood A GoGo Media Library, the Fred Lesserman collection, and many others for tax, donation, and archival purposes, I have a reputation for accurate evaluations in a timely manner. I can also sign an IRS 8283 form, as I am IRS-approved.
